This is the tool to buy. I use it as my main gardening tool from hoicking out thistle to pruning my ornamental trees. I love it and I love this store. Great service always.
Just started my sharpening journey ... and this kit is above and beyond. Kitchen knives are sharp and bench chisels have been revived. Happy with my purchase and will look at a few additional stones to compliment my kit as I hone my skills
This wax may be expensive but it is silky smooth and v nice to apply. I built a bar leaner out of a mix of light radiata pine and redwood. Sanded back with 220 grit and the wax bought out both wood grains beautifully - highly recommend
This Ryoba is top notch. Super versatile and is my preferred saw for resawing with minimal waste.
Ryobas of this kind are intended to have the blades replaced regularly if you use it frequently and for heavy work like resawing Aussie timbers. Replacing the blade makes the saw work like new again and you ask yourself why you didn't do it sooner.
The old blade is still useful, as a back up or to cut it up for shop made scrapers or scratch stock.
Replacement blades are cheap, and Japanese Tools were quick with postage. Five stars
This is a great toolbox for some of my drawing things. Keeps them together in the one place and protected as well.
This book is an great guide to sharpening cutting tools, from the straight to curved or vee. I'm a linocutter and this book is just right, containing clearly illustrated illustrations. Highly recommended.
Good size for those tight cuts. Excellent quality.
Exactly what I was after: a heavy copper base, stainless steel lining, rectangular, just the right size to use a BBQ tool to lift & roll one end and a regular flipper at the other end - without sticking to the pan. It seasons well and JTA supplies instructions on how to do this. The JTA customer service is excellent.
These are the best secateurs I have ever used. Extremely happy with my purchase. Highly recommend
Had to prune a weed tree with some branches 50mm think. Cut through them like butter. Thanks for the advice on which cutting blade to get. A fantastic pruning saw!!!
Great saw. Turns logs into butter. JTA were so helpful making sure I bought the right tool.
My husband was delighted with this little 'stocking stuffer' at Christmas. He particularly commented on how clear and easy to read the calibrated markings are. I was amazed at how quickly it was delivered. Happy customers.
Everything I have bought from Japanese Tools Australia has been of the highest quality. The items have been packaged well and delivery has always been in time. The camellia oil is easy to apply and does not degrade the performance of the tools at all.
Superb quality and highly functional. Using it as a tea canister and could be happier👍
Once I got my head around assembly wasn't too hard. Watch the instructions and any issues sellers very helpful.
I use mine for my sashiko and thinking of getting another.
