Description

Whether you want to make and gift this for the special someone in your life, or you'd prefer a project to work on together, this toolbox kit is an achievable, useful and beautiful woodworking project.

We have dived into our prized stash of Sugi (Japanese Cedar) and milled and cut to length all the appropriate sections required to make a Japanese-style toolbox.

With the leg work already done, it falls to the final recipient to mark out the locations of the holes for the wooden nails, drill those holes, and glue and assemble the toolbox.

Included in the kit are all the wooden nails you will need to build the box, along with their matching drill bit, and a 42mm Wooden Mallet to drive them home.

Once the nails are glued in place, the flush cut saw also allows you to trim them off for the perfect finish. The result is a beautiful Japanese toolbox measuring 490x165x120mm.

Follow the full instructional video for steps on construction.

As we only have a modest amount of milled stock, availability is strictly limited.
