Faceted Chisel Hoop

These Facteted Chisel Hoops are available in 15 different sizes. 

Japanese Bench and mortise chisels made in the traditional method are hooped at the end of the handle. This is to keep the handle from splitting when it's hit with a hammer, and allows for a more slender wood handle that is very comfortable to hold.
