This sandpaper is ideal for affixing to flat surfaces to sand timber, metal and paint. We find it particularly useful when used with our flat glass sheets as an economical flattening plate for treating water stones, or a coarse flat surface for grinding bevels and the backs of blades.

This abrasive can also be affixed to a curve for profile sanding.Regardless of the substrate it is bonded to, it can be used wet or dry, though if not dried properly the adhesive can lose its grip.

Each packet contains one sheet measuring 285mm x 225mm. Click here to view glass plates.

stone flattening

Have yet to use it but just from the feel and look of the sandpaper you can tell it is high quality. Will be great for flattening whetstones accompanied with the glass plate also supplied by JTA. Will definitely purchase more when my supplies run low.

Adhesive backed abrasive paper

Great. I stuck two sheets together on a flat board so that I could sand large items very evenly. Worked really well. Very

Stick backed joy and happiness

I recently bought a float glass block and some sticky backed sand paper. I now have a awesome sharpening system combining scary sharp and water stones. A flat surface is essential for sharpening and a glass block the cheapest option by far. Oh and service from jta team amazing. . Cheers folks and great to put faces to names at the too.l event at Sturt school a few weeks back.
