A Carving Set for Spoons

Really high quality, has quickly become one of my favourite carving knives (and I have plenty)
Hold and edge very well, gets sharp and stays sharp. It even comes with a very well sharpened edge which is rare.
The case is good quality, handy.
Can't say enough good things about this knife, I love it.

This knife is so comfortable. Seems to be so well balanced in my hand. It will take the finest cut and also will get stuck in. Hones up really well and holds the edge. As expected from a Japanese blade. The pouch is handy too and well made.

Gloves fit well and are nicely soft and flexible.

JTA were prompt in delivery and the gloves are ideal for beginners in wood carving. It’s important have a safe work environment while carving and these gloves protect your hands.

Works well, though as with all gloves you lose some sensation and control.

Even the Large are too small - good, but after a time, they restrict blood flow into the hands - please secure bigger sizes

Good steel. Good fit to the hand. Quality tool. The cover adds to the worth of the product!

Purchased a "large size" glove, they are a very tight fit.

For Aussie hands the gloves should be larger.

Excellent protection

They are so light and flexible that I always carve with a glove on my left hand and sometimes with both

bought as a present was a bit scared as it came super sharp. it is my go to and my favourite knife for whittling.

Exactly what I needed and at a reasonable price. Despatch & delivery couldn't be faulted.

Initially, I was a little disappointed as it seemed to be not sharp, however on close examination I realised it had a protective coating on the blade. Once I removed the coating, (metho) it was quite sharp. A gentile stropping between uses keeps it sharp. A nice knife with a protective leather case.

These gloves are very comfortable and practical.
I feel more confident while han d ling glass now. While I a core and snap glass, for leadlighting. I no longer worry that tiny shards might perforate my hands.
The company, Japanese Tools, provided me with excellent service and advice.
More companies should follow their ethical approach. Delivery was rapid. too.

These are absolutely essential. Comfortable to wear and have saved me from many nicks and cuts as well as a bad graze when using a sander. Highly recommend these.

I am unable to use this glove as it is so small I am unable to carve with it when i tried it on. it is much to tight on nmy hand and so I have never used it

Great light weight gloves, I feel more confident using a spoon carving knife when I've got these on.
