Description

The Genius of Japanese Carpentry is the story of the 1200 years old Yakushiji monastery and the dedicated modern-day craftsmen who are working to restore what has been lost to the depredations of time, fire, and warfare.

Azby Brown chronicles the painstaking restoration through photographs, extensive interviews with the carpenters and woodworkers, and original drawings based on the plans of Japanese master carpenter Tsunekazu Nishioka.

ANOTHER GEM FROM JAPANESE TOOLS AUSTRALIA.

I received my book this morning and again the quality is exceptional.
The paper is of excellent quality so the pics are able to be detailed.
I have flicked through the book and can't wait to immerse myself into it.
I have bought Japanese Wooden Boatbuilding and that book has been read twice.
JTA has been exemplary in their shipping times.
I have said it before but I will say" It is so nice to see a company that still has old fashioned values, when it comes to customer service.
