Bessho Jiro Dozuki - 240mm saw cross cut

This saw would have to be the best dozuki on the market. It is rigid and cuts with purpose and accuracy. It is not as thin as -say- the Naniwa 0.2mm dozuki saws, with a kerf of 0.35mm, however, the blade tracks beautifully and leaves a fine finish.

It is perfect for cutting dovetails and all fine joints.

The blades are tempered and hardened in a traditional manner by oil and quenched by hand. They are then straightened by eye with imperfections taped out by hand.
