Mekiri Budding Shears - 200mm

Designed for precision and comfort, the Mekiri Budding Shears are an excellent choice for delicate pruning tasks involving live plants, flower buds, or soft stems. The forged laminated blades are polished to a mirror finish and arrive razor sharp, while the matt-textured forged handles feel secure and comfortable in the hand, making long pruning sessions a pleasure.

These shears are best suited for fine horticultural work. They are not intended for cutting dead wood, heavy branches, or wire, and could be damaged if used in this way.

Each pair includes three interchangeable springs, allowing you to tailor the tension level to your preference. For those seeking a matching accessory, a genuine black leather pouch by Kobayashi is available separately.

To preserve performance and longevity, clean and oil your shears after each use. A regular coat of camellia oil is recommended to maintain the blade’s polished edge and prevent rust.
