The tough-sheath Hori offers just that - a durable, hard scabbard that clips onto a belt, a bucket or webbing to keep your new favourite garden tool right with you at all times - and safe from errant fingers.

This Hori's handle is slightly longer than standard, with small indents to accept the locking teeth of the scabbard.

When it's time to work, push the handle forward and pull the Hori out. Once the job's done, slide it home and listen for the "click" of the locking teeth as they slide into place.

This seemingly minor modification is fantastically useful - and with it's locking teeth, that Hori won't be falling out as you trundle your way across the garden.

The Hori Hori by NISAKU boasts both straight and serrated edges that’s useful for dividing plants, planting bulbs, flowers and herbs, digging out weeds, removing rocks, cutting through roots and so much more! A comfortable wooden handle allows for a better grip for all-day digging, and ensures you push into the soil with more control.
 
With both mm and inch markings engraved on the Japanese stainless steel blade will ensure your plants and bulbs are planted at just the right depth.
 
The self locking and waterproof sheath with comes with a built in belt clip.

Love my Hori Hori!

I liked the look of this bigger one with the tough sheat, and it didn’t disappoint! I wear it almost all the times walking my property and it is invaluable digging up unwanted weeds right from deep at the roots. Planting seedlings, slicing veggies cleanly from the base. I even attacked a stand of lantana with ease the other day!
