Description

Hand forged with a white paper steel cutting edge, these beautiful marking knives are forged with a more acutely angled cutting edge than the more common kiridashi style knife.

This means that marks are made with the hand's pressure more directly above the timber, allowing easier pressure without sacrificing control.

They have quickly become indispensable in the JTA workshop, as they will in any woodworker's shed.

Length: 120mm
Width: 15mm

Very good pair of marking knives given the low price

Very good quality for the price with a nice brass shim sleeve to protect the blade. The thin brass handle makes them a bit hard to hold whilst using them though.
